Join us tonight for Teacher Appreciation Night at the Girls Soccer match vs North Ridgeville. JV begins at 5pm, followed by varsity at 7pm. Prior to kickoff, the varsity team will be introduced with their favorite teacher. Join us for this special night!
The Berea-Midpark Girls Soccer team has opened the 2025 campaign with an impressive mix of dominant wins, gritty draws, and competitive battles, showing depth across the roster and standout individual performances.
The Titans kicked off their season in style with a 4-0 victory over Normandy, led by goals from Arnold, Harold (2), and Smart. The attack exploded again in an 8-2 win over Lakewood, where T. Watkins scored four goals, Arnold added two, and K. Watkins netted a brace. T. Watkins earned Warrior of the Match honors for her dynamic performance.
Berea-Midpark kept momentum rolling with a commanding 10-0 shutout over Valley Forge, featuring a hat trick from T. Watkins and goals from Arnold, Smart, Chrysanthus, Harold, K. Watkins, and McDermott. Assists came from all over the field, including strong playmaking from T. Watkins, McDermott, and Montanaro, while Zimmerman secured Warrior of the Match.
In their toughest early test, the Titans traveled to Mentor and battled to a hard-fought 1-1 draw, with Harold scoring the equalizer and T. Watkins providing the assist. Beckwith’s leadership at the back earned her Warrior of the Match recognition.
The team then faced two challenging contests, falling narrowly to Steele (1-3) despite a goal from Arnold, and to Buckeye (2-3) where T. Watkins and Smart found the net. Harold’s midfield control earned her Warrior of the Match against Buckeye.
The Titans bounced back in style with a 4-0 victory over Midview, highlighted by an Arnold hat trick and a goal from Chrysanthus. Harold and Smart tallied assists, while Arnold was named Warrior of the Match for her relentless finishing.
Most recently, Berea-Midpark fought to a 1-1 draw with North Olmsted, with Smart scoring the lone goal and Montanaro earning Warrior of the Match for her tireless play.
Through eight matches, the Titans have shown they can score in bunches while also grinding out results in close contests. T. Watkins leads the attack with 8 goals and 3 assists, while Arnold (7 goals, 3 assists), Harold (5 goals, 1 assist), and Smart (3 goals, 2 assists) have also been key contributors. Cuiksa has emerged as the team’s playmaking engine with a team-high 4 assists, and several players across the roster have stepped up in critical moments.
With a balanced attack, strong defensive play, and multiple athletes capable of taking over a game, the Berea-Midpark Girls Soccer team is poised to make noise in the conference this fall.
