Girls Tennis earns first victory of the season!

The Titans defeated Cloverleaf yesterday 3-2. Ava Vucenovic started the match with a 6-0 6-1 victory. The 2nd doubles tandem of Ella Weth and Brunn Siedlecki followed with a 6-1 6-1 victory. Lilly Jones clinched the win at 3rd Singles with a 6-0 6-2 victory. It was the first win of the season for the Titans.

After graduating 14 seniors, it has been a rebuilding season for the Titans. Six of the seven starters are playing their first year of Varsity Tennis including seniors Jeneen and Samia Jemal and Paige Zednick. Two freshmen have also played in every varsity match, Lily Jones and Brynn Siedlecki. Sophomore Nikol Mojsoska has also contributed this season. The highlight of the season has been Senior Ava Vucenovic who is 7-7 on the season and 29-29 for her career. Ava's 29 wins our 2nd most in school history. The Titans will compete in the SWC tournament this Saturday at Avon HS and Sectionals on 9/29 at Medina HS.
